DIY: Mickey Mouse invitation

My son LOVES Mickey Mouse, he watches the show, knows the songs, and everything. So for his first birthday I made his mini Birthday party invitations, and this is what they look like. Keep reading for the tutorial.

It was something simple that you can finish in a day. I think they turned out really cute exactly how I wanted them.
For this project you are going to need:
-Paper I prefer card stock (red, turquoise, yellow, white and black)
-Glue
-Ribbon (black and polka dot yellow)
-Invitation (get the pattern and the invitation below)

Here is the tutorial:

And here is the result hope you enjoyed this tutorial, thanks for checking my blog.

  4. Dear dear dear Johana. I want to thank you for this tutorial and idea. It is a fantastic one. I was unable to download your template in a proper size. So, since I battled with my computer for days trying to get it because I wanted THAT invitation, I gave up. I said the heck with it and thought that I SHOULDN'T make it EXACTLY the same, because it wasn't fair to my little one to have someone else's invitation. However, I was so inspired by yours, that I decided to use it as a template in my mind! :-) Here is what I did: http://irishlugan.livejournal.com/20833.html. Thank you so much Johana!
