DIY: Cloth Wipes (baby cloth)

If you follow us on our YouTube channel, you might now that we started cloth diapering our son when he was 18 months, and has been great so far I wish I would have started before.

Since we wanted to be a little more ecological conscious, I made some cloth wipes to help his bum, the environment and our pockets.

The things about the is that they are better than disposables since you save money, but the part that I love the most is that you don't get poop in your fingers like with the disposables. Sometimes when you are wiping your little one um you can get a little that when through the wipes eekk.

For the cloth wipes you just need a few materials:
-A yard of felt (or more depending of how many wipes you want to make)
-Matching thread
-Sewing machine

-Cut the pattern, the measurements I used are 9 in x 9 in/ 23 cm x 23 cm (I recommend tracing it in card stock or a material that will last long enough to trace more) and trace it on your flannel.
-Turn the flannel squares wrong side facing each other and sew around the edge leaving a little opening of about 2.5 inches/ 6.5 cm.
-Using the opening you left on the fabric turn it to it's right side and close the wipe by sewing all around.

Another option is serge the 2 fabrics which will save you time with all the sewing.
