I always remember as I was growing up in Mexico, how common was to drink fresh homemade flavor water. There are so many flavors to choose from and the best part is that they are all made by our moms or grandmas and the flavors can't compare to the ones they sell you at the store.
Look the ingredient list below:
-1 cup of white rice
-1 1/2 cups of hot water
-1 can (14 ounces) of sweetened condensed milk
-12 ounces of evaporated milk
-1 1/2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 tablespoons of cinnamon
-Sugar (I didn't used mine)
-Place the rice (washed) in a bowl with the hot water and let it sit for a few minutes, you can leave it for a few hours if you want.
-Once your rice is ready, add it with the vanilla, cinnamon, condensed and evaporated milk into a blender and mix for about 5 minutes.
-Strain the mixture into a jar with some water and keep adding more water to taste. Now add some ice and enjoy.
