I've been trying cutting down all the gluten from my diet and reducing the amount of carbs I eat in a day, and tho be honest I love it. It feels so good, you can feel the change right away and I feel less bloated and I love that. But to be honest I really miss having my pasta every now and then so I came across to this idea of making it with spaghetti squash and I loved it, it's so delicious.
I was a little intimidated of trying it out, I'm not big fan of trying new things, but I decided that it couldn't be that bad so I tried it. Obviously it's not the same but when you are trying to leave all that, whatever comes even remotely close to it tastes like heaven hahaha.
The first challenge was picking up the right one, I had no idea how because I've never tried it before. But the one I chose was perfect. I got the one that looked evenly yellow, no dark spots or white ones. It was firm everywhere and had a good heavy weight.
The preparation took about 30 minutes which it's not bad and turned out perfect, pretty much came out by itself and I was making the rest of the meal while waiting for the spaghetti squash to be ready. Below it's how I made it.
And of course I couldn't make just the spaghetti squash without having meatballs with it. I love this recipe so much because it's so easy and the are delicious.
And for this recipe you are going to need:
-2 lbs of ground beef
-1 cup of parmesan cheese
-1 tbsp of dried parsley
-1 tbsp of dried basil
-3 cloves of garlic chopped
-1/.2 onion chopped
And here is how you make them, the flavor it's amazing and they are so easy to prepare. I hope your family enjoys them as much as mine did.
