Sometimes I find myself thinking what am I gonna cook for the day, and after making food everyday it's hard to think of something good and easy to make. But it's always nice to remember meals that I used to have with my grandma and this is one of them.
My grandma makes the more delicious foods, and one thing I love about her is that she always makes it look so simple, like she has everything planned and ready.
One of the many recipes I remember are the potato patties. They are cheap, easy to make and they don't take long. Even if you are not that into fried foods you can make them in the oven.
And the things you are going to need are the following, I'm pretty sure you have most of the ingredients at home already.
-Potatoes (chopped in cubes and steamed)
I started by chopping all the vegetables to make the sauce/soup, and in a pan started heating them in water with some consome until they were almost done, that's when I added the tomato sauce.
While the soup it's cooking start making the potato patties and since you have your potatoes already cooked and chopped, now it time to smash it until it has a mashed potato consistency.
Now it's time to fluffy the eggs. Start with the whites and then add the yolk.
And now the fun part begins, grab some of that potato mix and dip it on the flour and then the eggs. Once they are like that fry them on hot oil for a few minutes. Take them out of the oil and they are ready.
Here is the video if you want to see how I make them step by step, thanks for watching!
