You know that feeling when you get out of work and you just want to eat something fast and easy to make but at the same time something you can call dinner?
Well that was me the day I made this "nacho dinner"
To be honest I have always been a big fan of nachos. The hot cheese, the jalapeños and the tortillas are the bomb! But it sounds more like a quick snack than dinner so I decided to add some meat in the mix and ta-da... Dinner time, haha.
But you are here because you like them as much as I do, so let's start making them. :)
Ingredients:
-1 lb of ground beef
-1 package of taco seasoning mix
-Nacho cheese
-Corn tortilla chips
-Sour cream
Optional Ingredients:
-Jalapeños (optional)
-Tomato
-Onion
-Avocado
-Cilantro
Preparation:
1. Add the ground beef on a medium sized pan and cook until is brown, then add the taco mix and keep cooking for a couple of minutes and cover.
2.While the meat is cooking, start making the salsa bandera by chopping the tomato, onion and cilantro and season it with salt and pepper. Cut the avocado in wedges and the jalapeños in slices and set aside to top the nachos.
3. Heat the cheese on a pan add a little bit of water or milk and stir for 1 minute or 2 until is hot.
4. In a plate add the tortilla chips, cheese and ground beef. Repeat again and add as many layers as you want.
5.Top the nachos with the salsa bandera, jalapeños and sour cream.
